iCareCoops Final Dissemination Event
On 28th and 29th of November, in the framework iCareCoops, European Active and Assisted Living project, Cooperatives Europe will host an event titled “Cooperatives and innovation – building the future of care in Europe” in Brussels. Gathering stakeholders, European and Belgian policy-makers as well as experts in older person’s care and IT, the event will explore the challenges and opportunities the changing face of healthcare offers to cooperatives, discover the power community-based enterprises and present the research and innovative technical solutions developed over the course of the project.
AAL Forum 2017
The AAL Forum features the latest advances in ICT technology for our ageing population, from robots and games to apps and sensors, products that focus on quality of life, increased independence and social life, and the reduction of health and social care costs. It is aimed at connecting those who develop the technology, those who use it and those who invest in it with a plethora of networking opportunities and social events.

COTEC-ENOTHE 2016 will explore a variety of issues in Occupational Therapy relating to the different fields of clinical practice, education and research and policy and will focus on contemporary issues in all aspects of Occupational Therapy. The conference will include keynote addresses, oral and poster presentation, symposium, workshops and marketplaces.
FamiliesAndSocieties Stakeholder Seminar 2016
The third Annual FamiliesAndSocieties Stakeholder Seminar will address the 'Intergenerational linkages in the family: How policies shape the organisation of caring and financial responsibilities for family members'.
Experts from research, policy and NGOs will discuss the most recent findings on topics such as:
how laws and policies shape gendered interdependencies in families,
how transfers to old parents might require a policy response to family and labour market change,
how intergenerational relations and welfare provision work in a crisis-stricken country.
Trilateral AAL Information & Matchmaking
Enterprise Europe Network and AAL-NCP partners in Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg are organising a joint Innovation Matchmaking Event on ‘Living well with dementia‘ to foster cooperation between Belgium, Swiss and Luxembourg enterprises, user organisations and research institutes. It offers companies and research institutes the possibility to meet potential partners for (R&D) cooperation.

Given earlier Alert Levels in Brussels, most of the Joint Digital Healthcare Symposium took finally place on 19-20 January 2016. The STOA workshop "eHealth in Europe: reality and challenges ahead" was held in the European Parliament on 1 December 2015 (the original date of the full symposium) and is accessible as recorded web stream.
ICT 2015 Innovate, Connect, Transform
The ICT 2015 event will comprise a number of parallel activities: A policy conference presenting the new Commission's policies and initiatives on Research & Innovation in ICT (Horizon 2020 Programme), an interactive exhibition showcasing the best results and impact of most recent EU ICT Research & Innovation, and many networking opportunities to enhance quality partnerships, help participants find partners, connect Research and Innovation and trigger collaboration.
